Its Fashion Show. You no see wrong and its my favorite brand, TOPSHOP. I'm attending this event much thanks to Joyce from kinkybluefairy for giving out invites to her readers. And my roommate is tagging along with me, who actually drive me there wtf. So this is called the Topman Topshop Spring Summer SS12 Fashion Show, Catwalk Preview.
We were late, reach the event at around 8.30pm. Been in massive jam right from Federal Highway towards Jalan Tun Razak, another massive jam right in front of Jalan Kg Pandan. Lack of parking spaces.
Seeing bunchies of city stylish underage kids there, they get the seats, guess they reach there early. Impressive, and adore these fashionista's mix and match. Okay, I'm learning to wear nicely obviously. So I tried to adapt into this urban culture, perhaps couture lifestyle wtf. Attendances are celebrities, models, heiress, media, bloggers, and Fashion Fast Forwards members. I forgot how Fashion Fast Forward give so many benefit to it's customer. I always skip all these email before actual reading them. Fashion Fast Forward giving out catwalk preview ticket too.

This post is fluttery and messy, but I'm excited to share what I experienced yesterday night.




What inside Goodies Bag:
Topman/Topshop SS12 preview catalog. Topshop printed Sketchbook. RM50 TOPMAN/TOPSHOP voucher. We get this goodies bag at the registration table with overwhelming love in the bag. And I love the bag obviously. It great how I can carry to work.




Event Story:
Here's the event, fml having sucky camera quality and I stingy to even change one new camera even I'm craving for Canon G12. But well, I'm still uploading these muddy pictures as I tried my very best to capture them. lol

Major what-to-wear dilemma. Wore Murua top with F12 Maroon pencil skirt. Nothing touch up with Topshop, because most of my Topshop are meant to be casual wear.

Pastels, shorts, bright pants, florals, sheer and cute prints are the major adaptation in this Spring Summer collection. And also Cleopatra inspiration and the ancient Egypt. Host of the night, Fay Hokulani is wearing one of the ancient Egypt Topshop Unique collection that night. Scroll down for the picture. She is wearing the 2nd from the right.

Make up touch up with Sephora eyeshadows palette, and shimmering compact powder. 6pm prepared, departing at 7.30pm. A rush touch up, as working time is not as flexible as stylish underage city kids. No time for fake lashes. 1.5hours for bath + makeup + dressup + dinner. A speedy shoot though.

Alright, story end. I'm gonna spend the RM50 Voucher on this Spring Summer collection.

My Mascara Choices

- Review - 

Hi, I realize I have update too frequent sometimes. Not sure it does mean good or bad. The story begin this way, I read Anna's update last few days. She was asking for any recommended mascara. So, I'm getting back to write more often and getting the review out before I forgot about it.

I'm using DEJAVU Fiberwig Mascara now. I bet most girly girl out there know about this brand since years back. Because it is way so so awesome. I used various other brands back in years but none really bring my massive love about it. I used to buy these cheaplak mascara from major drugstore. Then one day I just grab this Mascara randomly out from SASA. The main reason that make me buy it because IT WAS PLACE RIGHT BESIDE DOLLY WINK SERIES! Hahaha!

The selling point of this mascara is the lengthen effect from these various fibers in the mascara. Lengthen at the same time keeping our lashes in healthy condition. Not really sure about it, but some makeup artists recommended about it in TV shows and it doesn't really cost much. So, worth a try. There are tiny fibers that lengthened the lashes and give some vavavoom lengthen effect for a nice finish.

For the price, uhm I'm sorry I forgot about it. It's around RM50-60.

Best thing that bring my massive love to Fiberwig:

- Give bright eyes effect with lengthened lashes with no clumps stuck between lashes.

- No panda eyes! It won't smudge with sweat nor moist.

- Easily wash off with luke warm water.

So here's how I apply. I don't use electric lash curler plainly because I don't like it. But the point is, whenever I use normal curler, lashes will become droopy after half day out. So there is one day I attended the Etude House Product Launch workshop HERE, the makeup artist recommended their Dr. Mascara which work like electric lash curler. Etude House Dr. Mascara as base. It is transparent and it work to hold my lashes whole day long before it get droopy. 

Coating just a layer of Dr. Mascara, and my lashes work like their had electric lash curling effect. For one whole day. It is transparent, and I can use it alone as mascara base without even coat another layer of mascara on it, just to have the curl remain. Applying another layer of mascara on top of Dr. Mascara will just bring another surprise to you. 

So for the result look, its pretty decent in my thought. Not sure about you guys, but just have fun trying.
1. With no mascara coating.
2. With 1 layer of Fiberwig mascara coating.
3. With 1 layer of Dr. Mascara + 1 layer of Fiberwig mascara coating.

Okay, I love Topshop. I bought 90% of my clothes from Topshop. Although I bought clothes once a year. It's a contest post again as I kia su and so damn interested to see angmo hunks and chicks wearing these awesome art. When I first read Joyce from KinkyBlueFairy said:

Aha! I survived... I was trapped in an isolated island for the past week and I am revived now. No, actually I was drown in my work. Stacks of works and I have done it now.
Previously (few weeks back I guess), I was tagged by Airi about this 11 Questions thingy chain post. I don't know any rules about it, but I guess its a chain post where you have to answer the questions below and start tagging friends around.

1. What are your pet peeves?

When I am internet shopping or window shopping, someone tell me: "Buy it! You so rich." Meh, pbye! [Put a banana in your ear] I doesn't mean to be offensive, but its really irritate much when I can't have some times to just look at something nice, just LOOK at it! Someone will bug you to buy it. Get a new lines please! But wait, it doesn't seems he get anything that he plain looking at? He is just merely want to bug people to waste their money. Omg hentai much!

2. Is there a fashion trend that you HATE?

How does people define ah beng/ ah lian's fashion trend? I just feel eyes aching looking at those fashion. Oops...

3. What's your most embarrassing moment?

Falling down in public ain't embarrass moment for me, cause it's common wtf.
Strong wind plotting up a scene to blow up the pleated dress and show granny panty wtf. It happened when I was crossing a road, a road with lot's of car passing by and restaurants' peak hour cuz its lunch hour.
Fart? Burp? Or Shit sticking out of nostril?
Which is which? I found all these farking embarrassing! Ottokeh?

4. What's your ideal wedding like?

When I was a kid, I wish for a cruises wedding like Princess Ariel, The Little Mermaid. I started to realize that it cost farking much to rent a cruise, to transfer all the guests to the cruise. Then I think of the beach wedding, it should be awesome if I don't get tanned easily. So the plan is banned.
Now, everything tone down. A simple wedding with family and friends, no sparkling glitter disco light on stage, with show girls shaking their boobs off on stage please. (I have seen these so called "performance" from some wedding dinner. ) I love Old England Vintage theme, an inn with country style home. Imagine just some space like this, having unlimited flow of beers and wine and food and pastry. Party until dawn.

5. What do you like most about yourself? (It doesn't have to be appearance related!)

Physically, I like my nose, mouth, merely dimple, and my shortness. Old neighbours said these features look exact like both my parents. I love my parents, I love these features in my genes. Internally, I am proud how I could maintain iamginny.com for more than 2 years. It's the first blog where I stand for such a long period, which mean I will work for it if I am dedicated to do it!

6. What do you think about most during your idle time?

Shameless to say, ZEN. C'mon its idle time, who farking care to think too much about it!

7. Are you one to prefer a few close friends, or a big circle of casual friends?

I prefer to get a balance between both. I have both few close friends, as well as a big circle of casual friends. It sounds awesome! :)

8. Have you been scammed before? :o If yes, it's storytime!

Uhm... Nope. It's lucky too sometime, being an anonymous.

9. What style are you most into now? How did you get into it?

In between of Gyaru of Ulzang perhaps? I'm not sure but I just love to put up anything that I like onto myself. Few close friends they know... I'm happy how they could pick up few pieces of clothes that me likey and said... "Your style, meh" Haha! I have brilliant friends!

10. What do people often misjudge about you?

They think I am rich.

• Especially colleagues, I guess it's because I own a credit card. Explanation: The card is applied by my dad. Owning a credit card doesn't mean you are rich, its mean you are DEBT to the bank. There are lot's of people owning credit card on the street my dears...
• I shop a lot. Live like there is no tomorrow. Just don't overspend will do. In my perspective, live is short, I will live a contented life. By the end of my life, I won't regret for what I have did, but I will regret if I didn't do something that I wish to do. Okay, if you want to be rich, save much is not helping. Earn more.

11. What's one thing you want to do/accomplish before you're 30?

Its a secret.

I'm getting away from this pressure overload world, trying to pursue my oh-so-girly dream. Graphic designer? Fashion designer? It's graphic designing and fashion marketing. Oh so girly it so estatic! Been talking to Airi lately (A new friend I made recently, read her blog here!), telling her about the dilemma every young adults met in Malaysia and she was so shock that this is not a really/officially free voice country. We don't really get what we always wanted for, despite we get all the nonsense that we needed to complete with. Like for example, one of my brother's friend who applied for local university degree courses, out of 10 choices he listed, he get something out of the box. “Kaji tanaman” Dafuq you expect a high school major in Physics student to learn something extraordinary like research the plants? It should be some biology course, correct me if I'm wrong.

Back to my topic, about pursuing this dreamy job. It is a hard industry with so many girls wanting for it. But for life, this ain't gonna work. Many told me this, told me that it's a hard way to go if I pick this. However, I find it's real awesome if I really pursue my own dream. Perhaps these places waiting for me to discover. Or was there a burden that keep me on the same track where I really not letting go. It's 5 years time, we shall see how things work by 5 years time.

I'm glad I finally picking up what I really like, although people might keep saying that it wasn't the best choice for living. But whatever it is, I have fully responsible for my future. Every decisions I made, I couldn't regret but go for it. Even if one day I regret, I couldn't blame others but fix it.

Enough with the emotion post, I'm going to crap about other else. I bought skin care again, yes again in this month. Spent RM240 on a bottle of night cream make it a real serious matter. Apart from that, I was also tempted to buy the same range of serum as well. Well the description works really well in hypnotize me: Controls hyperpigmentation due to daytime UV rays and also stress accumulated throughout the days. I work in front of computers more that 12hours a day. Stress is what happened to me everyday. Instead of having thicker make up day per day, I need more skin care perhaps. Not much time I could use to sleep for skin regenerating, and mythosis of skin at this age become slower than previously. I need more supplements. For eyes and for skin healths. Bilberry for the eyes and collagen for the skin. Some friends laugh at me to really care about skin anti-oxydante at this age, but for myself it is better to prevent now.
